Welcome and thank you for visiting
As the summer time approaches and the outside temperature begins to get warmer and warmer, so does the inside of your house if the windows are left open. But who does not like the warm air going into your house. It feels good to let the natural warm air in, but only if it’s not humid warm air.
But what if it is going to be a hot day and it’s not comfortable in your house because of the humid warm air. There is a way to keep your house cool inside and it does not cost anything.
Here is a way to keep cooler air in your house
As night approaches, the temperature begins to fall slightly, but in a few hours from then the temperature might fall quite a bit more. What this means is that if you think the next day is going to be a really warm humid day, then at night open up some windows a little in your house to let the cooler and not as humid air in your house.
During the next day when the temperature has gone up a little outside shut those windows facing the south side of your house, Because the windows and the south side of the house will get really warm because of the sun shining so bright and making a lot of heat.
The other windows in the house will most likely be in the shade and will be cooler on the other side of the house, and you may possibly be able to keep those windows open a little longer, and this will keep your house cool inside for a longer time. Plus you can also keep a ceiling fan(s) and or a smaller fan on a low setting this way the cooler air will circulate.
Another way keep cool air in your house is to block out the warm sunshine from heating up your windows and heating up the cool air in your house, put some lite window tint film on the windows in your house that gets the most sunshine and heats up quick. Doing this will let light through the windows, but will keep the heat off your windows and prevent the heat going into your house.
I'm not saying stop using your A/C all together, but you may possibly be able to turn it on later in the day, because of the natural cooler air you let in your house and you also could put your A/C on a lower setting later on in the day, if you need it.
This may or may not work in much warmer climates.

Save money by trading each others know how or skills.
Lets say you are an experienced landscaper, plumber, carpenter, auto mechanic and know lots to do with it and you have a friend, relative or neighbor that knows another skill like carpentry, plumbing, auto mechanic, landscaping or whatever.
You can trade skills to work on each others houses, cars or landscaping.
This can save you a lot of money because of doing things this way.
This might not work for some, but can also be a good thing to start.
